چکیده
Background: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Thin-walled cystic lung with ground glas s opacity (GGO) a type carcinoma specific computed tomography (CT) features. Objectives: To investigate imaging features multi-slice spiral (MSCT) GGO and to improve diagnosis this cancer. Patients Methods: The clinical data 24 patients pathologically confirmed thin-walled were retrospectively analyzed in study. preoperative MSCT, including vascular convergence, burr signs, pleural depression lobulation thickness uniformity cavity wall, partitive membranes, position ground-glass cavity, examined. relationship between postoperative pathological findings also explored. Results: Most lesions (75.0%) located upper lobe lungs. size range was 5.8 - 28.1 mm, mean 13.6 ± 7.2 mm. Fifteen (62.5%) had wall < 2 6 (25.0%) 3 (12.5%) about 4 A uniform found 10 (41.7%) cases, while non-uniform observed 14 (58.3%) cases. Eleven showed pure (45.8%), 13 mixed (54.2%). Besides, nine (37.5%) lobular 12 (50.0%) spicule (28.6%) convergence signs. Twelve signs indentation, (66.7%) thick or thin small blood vessel fine membranes. Twenty-three diagnosed adenocarcinoma, one adenosquamous carcinoma. Conclusion: rare phenomenon. on MSCT are consistent characteristics cancers.

OBJECTIVE Comparative evaluation of ground-glass opacity using conventional high-resolution computed tomography technique and volumetric computed tomography by 64-row multi-slice scanner, verifying advantage of volumetric acquisition and post-processing technique allowed by 64-row CT scanner. METHODS Thirty-four patients, in which was assessed ground-glass opacity pattern by previous high-res...

PURPOSE To evaluate the use of the 64-slice spiral computed tomography (CT) with perfusion-weighted imaging in the early diagnosis of ground-glass opacity lung cancers. METHODS 412 patients with ground-glass opacities found by conventional CT scan in our hospital, and deemed highly suspected of being lung cancers, were enrolled in the study between February of 2012 and February of 2015. Sixty...
متن کاملMolecular markers and changes of computed tomography appearance in lung adenocarcinoma with ground-glass opacity.
BACKGROUND High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) of lung adenocarcinoma at early stage shows pure ground-glass opacity (GGO) and most cases of pure GGO remain stable during follow-up. There is no consensus on the strategy for follow-up. Identification of the molecular mechanisms that are associated with the natural history of lung adenocarcinoma should provide useful information. METHODS...
متن کاملMulti‐slice computed tomography characteristics of solitary pulmonary ground‐glass nodules: Differences between malignant and benign
BACKGROUND Ground-glass nodules (GGNs), which are possible precursors of lung cancer, attract increasing attention. Many studies have attempted to identify the characteristic imaging features of GGNs for their qualitative diagnosis; however, the comprehension of GGNs remains controversial. We performed this study to identify imaging characteristics helpful to the differential diagnosis of solit...
متن کاملRadiation exposure in cardiac multislice spiral computed tomography (MSCT)
Computed tomographic (CT) imaging involves exposure to ionizing radiation, with a consequent potential risk to the patient. Here we review the technical factors that affect the radiation dose in cardiac CT diagnostic procedures, the parameters that are used to measure and compare radiation doses, the magnitude of radiation exposure, and how to efficiently reduce it.
